Celebrity Summit Oceanview Stateroom | What Is An Oceanview Stateroom on

This was my first "water-level" sailing -- and my first oceanview picture window stateroom.

I usually book a veranda or balcony stateroom whenever I cruise to Alaska, but I have to admit that the view from deck 3 was as spectacular as the deck 9 views I'm used to.

I spent several afternoons cozied up by the window in the big chair, with a book and a cocktail and I watched the waves and the mountains and the orca and the whales and, well, everything.

I would definitely book a cabin like this one again, especially on a ship as amazing as the Celebrity Summit.
