The JGTC series (also All Japan Grand Touring Car Championship, today Super GT) is Japan's answer to European and American Gran Turismo car racing. Featuring most Japanese car manufacturers like Honda, Nissan, or Toyota, which were challenged by McLarens, Porsches or BMWs, it got very popular in the second half of the 1990s. Still today, it is Japan's leading GT series.

The series is characterized by long-distance races of 250 to 1000 km, with refueling stops and driver changes. Here I am use the mod by @didouc for Automobilista 2 for a casual recreation of the Suzuka race of 1996/1997, with a fourth of the original distance and 4 x time fuel comsumption.
