How to Make Flower Petal Coasters | Craft Time with Michaela

This little gift for Grandparent’s Day was so much fun to make with our adorable nieces, Willow and Hazel Balka. I found the acrylic coasters at Hobby Lobby. The stickers and the paper flowers were from the scrapbook section of a craft store. Willow used pressed flowers in her craft that we had dried together a few months ago. They were petals from baby gifts when her baby brother was born.

For dried or paper flowers apply a thin layer of mod podge to your item then apply flowers in the order you desire. Cover the flowers with another thin layer of mod podge to seal. Allow to dry for 24 hours.

For stickers
Apply stickers until you achieve your desired look then cover your craft with a thin layer of mod podge to seal.


This craft can also be done with transfer paper as the base to make a bookmark. Simply cut the transfer paper into the size desired and follow the steps above.
