This was a concert held at the Mysore Palace in 1985 before many dignitaries. It is likely to have been his last major public one before the December concert in Chennai (his last) (video at    • Flute Mali Video - Last Concert - aud...  ). A few days before, Mali had broken his hand and it needed propping up with pillows. It still hadn't healed by the time of his last concert as you can see in the video of that concert. Yet, Mali was able to perform extraordinarily well. From a musical point of view, this Mysore concert was, IMO, superior to his Chennai one. The only disappointment is that there does not seem to be a video available for this concert.
