How to Request Manual Review YouTube Video Monetization

Описание к видео How to Request Manual Review YouTube Video Monetization

In this tutorial, you will learn How to Request a Manual Review on your YouTube videos for monetization. In August 2017, YouTube announced some changes regarding their video monetization guidelines (see link to blog post below). As a result of these new guidelines, some videos were classified as being “not suitable for all advertisers” because they do not meet advertising guidelines.

As part of their monetization system, YouTube introduced a new set of monetization icons. The three most common icons are: (1) a green dollar sign icon indicating that the video is fully monetized and no action is required; (2) a yellow dollar sign icon, indicating that the video has been classified as “not suitable for all advertisers”; (3) and a black dollar sign icon, indicating that the video has been de-monetized possibly because of a copyright strike, Content ID claim, or Community Guidelines strike.

If you have any videos classified as “not suitable for all advertisers” (that is, with the yellow dollar sign), and you think that your video is within the YouTube guidelines, you can submit an appeal. To do so, log into your YouTube account and submit an appeal via your Video Manager.

You can watch this video tutorial and follow the step-by-step instructions on How to submit an appeal to manually review your YouTube video for monetization. It will depend how long YouTube takes to review your appeal. In my case, I’ve submitted a few of my new videos, and most of them were reviewed and approved within a couple of days.
