Good as Gold! Taylor Guitars 50th Anniversary Builder's Edition 814ce and 314ce

2024 marks the 50th Anniversary of Taylor guitars and to celebrate their golden anniversary Taylor has released a number of limited edition models! Today we highlight two models, the Builder's Edition 814ce LTD 50th Anniversary and the 314ce LTD 50th Anniversary models. The limited edition models are limited to 1,974 in number - matching the year that Taylor Guitars began.
The limited edition Builder's Edition 814ce LTD 50th features typical Builder's edition specs like armrest bevel, beveled cutaway, chamfered edges and a softened wing bridge. The 50th version changes the top from an Adirondack top to a sinker redwood top - bringing warms visuals tone. The 314ce LTD 50th anniversary adds a torrified spruce top and a full gloss treatment with medium brown stain and a tiger striped pickguard. All 50th anniversary guitars features a special label and gold tuners.
