ACC Levy Consultation – Motorcyclists

If you’re a motorcycle owner, we’d like to hear your feedback on our proposed levy changes.

Each year, ACC spends around $114 million on treatment and support for motorcyclists injured on our roads.

Levy rates need to keep pace with rising costs and ensure we have enough money to support future injured road users in their recovery.

We want the levy system to be as fair as possible, so we review levies every three years and propose changes to make sure we have the balance right.

We consider all feedback from New Zealanders and present our recommendations to the Minister for ACC, so the Government can take them into account when making the final decisions.
