Set crossflight/Mini Pix/PIXHAWK on Helicopter / Episode 1 Installation

Описание к видео Set crossflight/Mini Pix/PIXHAWK on Helicopter / Episode 1 Installation

How to set up crossflight/Mini Pix/PIXHAWK on helicopter? Take crossflight as an example.
Crossflight can be used to control different kinds of models, such as helicopter, multirotor, and so on.
It has many sensors and connectors.
This is GPS TS100.
This helicopter uses a gyro now. The servos are connected to the gyro like this. Here is receiver.
Then we need to replace the gyro into flight controller. I’ll show the connection.
You can check the connection diagram from the quick start guide that comes with crossflight.
We can see where the servos are.
Connect the servos to flight controller one by one by following the diagram. This is what it looks like after the connection.
Crossflight comes with a cable to connect to the receiver. Connect one end of the cable to RC IN port, one end to SBUS channel of the receiver, and the other end to the buzzer. This is what it looks like after the connection.
Remember to set the BEC voltage to 5V, because crossflight supports 5V input. These servos also support 5V. After the setup, connect the ESC to crossflight, channel 6.
GPS is already mounted. But the arrow direction of GPS is opposite to crossflight, we’ll introduce how to set it in the next episode.
Here are power module and buzzer. The power module and ESC are powered separately, and the power module is installed at the back of the helicopter.
For the current power supply: connect a small battery to power module to supply power to crossflight. ESC is at the front. Connect a big battery to it to provide the main power.
That’s all for today. In the next episode, we’ll introduce the setup.
