1932 HITS ARCHIVE: I Love A Parade - Arden-Ohman Orchestra (Frank Luther, vocal)

Описание к видео 1932 HITS ARCHIVE: I Love A Parade - Arden-Ohman Orchestra (Frank Luther, vocal)

Song written by Harold Arlen and Ted Koehler for the 1931 Warner Bros. Technicolor film “Manhattan Parade,” which starred Winnie Lightner, Charles Butterworth, and the comedy team of Smith & Dale. Due to rising public apathy toward movie musicals in the U,S,, full song performances of this and other numbers were cut from the final domestic release of the film (but were retained for foreign issue). “I Love A Parade” can still be heard over the opening and closing credits, however.

Transferred from 78rpm Victor 22892 - I Love A Parade (Koehler-Arlen) by Victor Arden-Phil Ohman and Their Orchestra, vocal by Frank Luther, recorded in NYC December 23, 1931
