Gyula Beliczay of Jeskófalva and Belicz , Julius von Beliczay . Hungarian railway engineer, composer, teacher of the National Academy of Music .Even then, the church conductor Gyula Csáder noticed his musical talent . From the age of twelve he studied at the Lutheran High School in Bratislava . He was excellent in mathematics, so his father intended him to pursue an engineering career. He also learned to play the piano in the city from Josef Kumlik and later Christelly. At the request of his father, he graduated from the Polytechnic in Vienna between 1851 and 1857 . In 1856 he also obtained a degree in conducting in the Austrian capital. From 1858 he was an engineer of the Tiszavidék Railway Company, which was still operating there. He also taught at one of the city’s conservatories.
