VLD SEASON 5 TRAILER - The White Lion, Lance and Lotor's Arcs, Sam Holt and MORE! | Voltron Analysis

Voltron: Legendary Defender season five comes out March 2. A trailer for the new season recently came out. This season appears to be rather plot heavy. Prince Lotor and Lance get more screen time; Keith is still with the Blade of Marmora. Pidge, Matt, and Shiro are meeting Zarkon in person. He has an offer for them. It's only Shiro, Matt, and Pidge meeting Zarkon and two of the generals. Why bring Matt instead of another Paladin? Because the offer is important to him, Pidge and Shiro specifically. Zarkon wants to trade Sam Holt for Prince Lotor. Voltron is fighting a new robeast on Olkarion. Lance is really stepping up and becoming the voice of reason for the team. Potential set up for Black Paladin Lance? He doesn't trust Lotor, neither do Pidge and Hunk. Princess Allura isn't fully onboard with him either. Although she'd be more open to discussing with him after that whole, "not all galra are bad" arc. Her finding out he's part Altean will lead to some interesting things. She's also got a White Lion now. The White Lion was canon in old versions of Voltron: the Voltron/Robotech comic and 80s Voltron. It was connected to Alfor and it will be in VLD too. She is seriously the heart of Voltron. Her quintessence is connected to its. Keith is likely to find out more about his mother this season.
