Ingredients :
1. Par boiled rice - 1 cup (200 g)
2. Toor dal - 1/2 cup (50 g)
3. Water - 6 cups
4. Salt to taste
5. Tomato - 2 medium sized (chopped)
6. Shallots - 15 Nos
7. Carrot - 1 small sized
8. Chow Chow / Chayote - Few
9. Radish - chopped
10. Drumstick - 3 pieces
11. Broad beans - 2 Nos (chopped)
12. Beans - 4 Nos
13. Slit Green chilli - 2 Nos
14. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
15. Sambar powder / Coriander powder and chilli powder - 1.5 tbsp
16. Oil - 1 tsp
17. Tamarind extract from small gooseberry sized tamarind
18. Few coriander leaves

For Tempering :
1. Ghee - 2 tbsp
2. Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
3. Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
4. Fenugreek seeds - 1/8 tsp
5. Few curry leaves
6. Cashew nuts - 10 - 12 Nos
7. Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
