The single DIN stereo on the Fox Body Mustangs are old and the only thing you possibly can use for these days is to listen to the radio. It’s time for an upgrade to a double DIN with CarPlay. I have seen many people struggles with selecting the wrong kit and ended up waisting time getting it installed. Not to mention you might cause damages to other components that you try to move around. There is a kit that relocate the heat/AC controller to the bottom, don’t use that. It is a lot of work. I discussed in detailed in the video why the kit that I used is much better and took far less time! In this video, I also go over the newer method of connecting the speakers and power wire. These are soldered connection and it will last a life time. Easy to make the connection as well. Check out the video. Reach out on the comments if you have questions.
