Here I tell you an easy guide to know your scalp type.

▪️For oily scalp, look for ingredients like salicylic acid in your shampoo. This will help in reducing grease. Also you can use a clarifying shampoo once a week to remove excess oil out.

▪️If you have oily scalp with dry hair : choose a shampoo for oily hair and a conditioner for dry damaged hair. Also use a hair serum which will help in controlling dryness and frizz.

▪️If you have dandruff, don’t put oil on your scalp. It will only worsen your dandruff. You need an antidandruff shampoo. If that doesn’t help then consult your dermatologist for prescription medications to control dandruff.

▪️If you have dry scalp, then applying hair oil on the scalp and hair , 2 hours before hair wash may help.

▪️For sensitive scalp, you want to use a shampoo which is sulphate free to reduce chances of dryness and irritation. Using plain coconut oil before wash can also help. Keep your hair care products to the minimum.
