Rajiv Gandhi Assassination: Supreme Court Orders Premature Release Of All Six Convicts

n an important development, the Supreme Court of India today ordered the premature release of all six convicts in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case convicts.
The Supreme Court ordered the release of convicts Nalini Sriharan, P Ravichandran, Jayakumar, Robert Payas, Santhan and Murugan who are serving life sentence in the case.
A bench comprising Justices BR Gavai and BV Nagarathna passed this order today following its May 17th order releasing another convict in the case AG Perarivalan.
