Bangers and Cash Came to Our Classic Car Show! | Andrew Hardy Classic Vehicle Show | Coxhoe Classics

It is show time!

Following on from the ever successful Coxhoe Classics Car Show in County Durham we present to you the Andrew Hardy Classics Classic Vehicle Show. We have enlisted the help of some famous friends, Paul, Dave, Jack and Charlie Mathewson as well as the rest of the Bangers and Cash team to help make this a night to remember.

We have teamed up with the organisers of Coxhoe Classics to bring you this new car show at Thornley Hall Farm, Durham. We are all passionate about classic cars and even more passionate about Durham! We don't think Durham gets enough of the classic car action so we have tried to bring some local people together with their classic cars and hopefully have a fantastic evening.

We had no reference as to how many cars would be coming so as a precaution we took 16 of our own featuring Ford Escorts, Mitsubishi Evos, a couple of veteran cars, some Morris Commercial Van, an American classic and even a tricar with a wicker basket on the front!

The show has turned out to be a success and a lot more cars, motorbikes and tractors turned up with a huge variety of styles and ages. Everyone was pleasant, the general public were fantastic and had a lot of catering facilities which definitely helped with the shows success.

I was given the hard task of picking a few show winners, which you will see in the video. You will also see the Mathewsons and Bangers and Cash team turn up and get straight to work helping us run the show.

I would like to thank Andrew and Jane for helping us form this show, to John Taylor for providing a brilliant venue and to all the volunteers who helped run the show - you all did a fantastic job!

Plans for next year? I don't know yet... but we will be back!
