The proposed bus terminal design is located at Vani, Maharashtra. Vani has been selected as the site because it is a major terminal which could be further developed for the welfare of its users.
The design has been inspired from nature keeping in mind the current COVID-19 pandemic. The design ensures physical distancing of people arriving, departing as well as waiting for the buses. The main structure has been inspired from the shape of a tree. Solar panels would be installed on the roof ensuring a sustainable design.
