The new track complement the facilities that IDIADA has in its main technical centre, and will allow the simulation of any type of scenario related to the testing of CAV systems, vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure connectivity, as well as advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) development.

The new facility allows more adaptation possibilities in the tests, enabling the use of a variety of test equipment in the best conditions for these types of test, taking into account greater flexibility, safety and high standards of confidentiality. The complex includes two working areas and the accesses to the test area, the first area is orientated to the testing of autonomous vehicles and their systems, and the second one is aimed at performing tests which simulate situations at intersection scenarios.
