AMT Round 2 Models 1/537 Scale USS Reliant Model Kit Build
With Custom LED Lighting

In this video segment I begin the build with setting up the model for internal lighting of the Primary Hull.
I'll be using the Modeler's Brand Double Density LED Tape in the warm white shade for this. This will give the appearance of lit cabin windows and should look just right.
I have made some basic brackets out of sheet styrene to mount the LED tape
in place which will allow me to light the entire rear half of the Hull with one 3FT length
of the LED tape.
I will be using quite a few aftermarket products for this build. The Round 2 Models Aztec decal kit, the Paragraphix photo etch parts and window drilling guide kit, the VoodooFX
Starship Navigation Lighting board and the Reliant lighting parts kit from Don's Light and Magic. I plan on really paying attention to detail on this kit and with the extra parts it should be a great representaion of the on screen Reliant when finished. Stay tuned and in the next video I'll be deep into getting the lighting worked out.
