Infernal Tyrant I: 00:00
Aku Nyandam is kind of like a Le’noir with two added attacks to disrupt incoming units and units that stand at certain ranges. A level 50 Royal Guard does not care about the added attacks and tanks it without flinching like a man. The peons in this stage are nothing to write home about, but Aku Nyandam, even with 4.6 million HP, dies pretty quickly to Royal Guard, Slime, and Bahamut (one Bahamut can deal up to 800k damage to him, but you usually only get 600k)

Infernal Tyrant II: 02:15
Aku Nyandam now spawns immediately, and is now accompanied by more dangerous peons. The most dangerous are the Chickful A. pair, who can both be crippled by Bahamut. Once the second Chickful dies, you can go about with the routine Royal Guard agenda. While it seems like these long endurance battles against the tyrant should be cash starves, your wallet is always supplied by a high-bounty peon (Seal, Poodles, Dark Doge) every so often, but don’t take it as an invitation to go all-guns-blazing.

Infernal Tyrant III: 04:29
Aku Nyandam spawns immediately again, and this time he’s backed up by real Aku support, as well as Royal Guard fodder Elder Sloth. Slime the beginning peons and try to keep Nyandam stalled with Rocks until the Aku Gory spawns. Level 50 Royal Guard can tank an Elder Sloth hit, and once you shred him, it really becomes a game of managing money.

If you’ve been playing with this particular braindead lineup, you should have no problem precisely killing the final Rel at the start with Slime/Royal Guard and Rock. As for the M. Ost chain, there are a couple of differences compared to The Belated Priest:

1. Spawn Bahamut as soon as possible once M. Ost hits the base once. Any slower and Dark Doge will run past Bahamut’s blast and hit him.
2. Delay using Iron Wall until Bahamut hits M. Ost for the sixth time. Third, you will want M. Ost to get knocked back by Bahamut’s fifth hit’s blast since that allows Bahamut to clear out the Rel and Dark Doge that spawn around this time.
3. The final hit on M. Ost is inconsistent (half the chain is, though) and comes down to Li’l Doge spawn RNG.

After that, the rest of your lineup can take out the peons with relative ease, and you can shift your focus to managing money for the cleanup. Save your Slimes for Dark Doge if Nyandam isn’t hitting the base, and get Nyandam off as quickly as possible if he is. Poor playing on my part and one Li’l Doge showing me why PONOS barely uses him anymore led to a very climactic finish, but better playing and/or more base HP will make this stage easier.
