An amazing and rare behind the scenes look at how a NASCAR team fabricates, machines, and assembles dozens of race cars each season as a leading NASCAR team! Thousands of parts and components are CNC machined, fabricated, and assembled on giant surface plates with cutting edge metrology equipment.

Todd Frazier, V.P. of Operations, walks us through different stages of building these speed demons; from machining suspension components from raw billet, to body hanging, to inspection, these cars must meet NASCAR regulation while maintaining a competitive edge.

Stewart-Haas Racing is the title-winning NASCAR team co-owned by three-time Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series champion Tony Stewart and Gene Haas, founder of Haas Automation – the largest CNC machine tool builder in North America. Based in Kannapolis, North Carolina, Stewart-Haas Racing operates out of a 200,000-square-foot facility with more than 300 employees.
