What started as a quiet electric ride along Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way turned into something much more unforgettable. After a full charge and some of the best Indian food I’ve had in months, we hit the road — only to run into a group of Harley riders from Legion MCC. Loud pipes, no traction control, zero compromise. These bikes were raw, fast, unapologetic, and the guys riding them? Straight out of a biker film.
We shared stories, jokes, respect, and a lot of disbelief when they saw I was riding fully electric. Some loved it. Some didn’t. But the exchange was real. The sound of their engines shook the road. My bike made no noise at all. And yet, somehow, we all met in the same place — out on the open road, chasing freedom in our own way.
We crossed rugged coastlines, passed through postcard-perfect towns, stopped at the highest pub in Ireland, and pushed battery limits while dodging unpredictable chargers. But what stuck with me most wasn’t the range or the view — it was the encounter with that Harley crew. That moment reminded me that no matter how different the machines are, the ride is what brings us together.

This was one of those days that makes you remember why you ride.
