Hurry Up, Fail Faster! - Introduction to Bidirectional Forwarding Detection (BFD)

Описание к видео Hurry Up, Fail Faster! - Introduction to Bidirectional Forwarding Detection (BFD)

What is BFD? Why would you use it? What problems does it solve? All of this, and more in my latest video! BFD (bidirectional forwarding detection) is a big freakin' deal! Enjoy!

BFD from Cisco Documentation: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs...
BFD RFC (5880): https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc5880

Note: Though I use OSPF extensively as an example of a routing protocol in this video, the concepts I mentioned transfer to other protocols in a similar fashion due to BFD's protocol-independent nature. Furthermore, I use "hold timer" in the context of OSPF to mean the dead-interval and "minimum interval" to mean the minimal hello-multiplier.

Correction: The picture labeled "CCNP 350-501 SPCOR" at the beginning sound be labeled SPRI and vice versa.
