The United Nations refugee agency UNHCR has reported that more than 360,000 refugees so far have fled into neighbouring countries since the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022. Up to four million Ukrainians are expected to be displaced if the fighting worsens. One family escaping to neighbouring Poland has spoken about their ordeal and those they have left behind.
