Shadow Warrior has players take control of the modern ninja warrior Lo Wang as he fights through levels of demonic hordes. Levels themselves are divided into chapters, each with Wang progressing through smaller stages that have side and hidden areas.

Unlike the original, the Shadow Warrior reboot is single-player only. Without a multiplayer component, how will Shadow Warrior perform in the video game market?

The Initiative is a review and analysis series on newly-released PC games. The series will show my first impressions of the gameplay and features at face value, and analyze its longevity in the market and community.
