In this video, I am taking a short summer walk in the town center of Konitsa, a scenic little town perched on the slopes of Trapezitsa mountain. The town is very close to the Zagori Villages (Zagorochoria) and is also well-known for the excellent stone carvers that, in older times, roamed Greece and the Balkans, and were responsible for the construction of many of the traditional arched stone bridges that adorn the rivers of Epirus. It is also very close to the Vikos Gorge, and at some points of the video, you can also see the majestic rocky entrance of the beautiful and world-famous gorge. In order to get to Konitsa, you can follow the Ioannina - Kozani National Road (   • Greece: Ioannina - Konitsa: Sullen Su...  ) and if you're feeling adventurous, you can follow that same road (   • Greece: Konitsa - Eptachori: Wanderin...  ) in order to reach Mastorochoria (Villages of the Stone Masons), and Eptachori, in order to either turn towards Nestorio and Kastoria (   • Greece: Eptachori - Kastoria: Τhe Mou...  ) or stay on the road until you reach Kozani

Σε αυτό το βίντεο, κάνω έναν σύντομο περίπατο στο κέντρο της Κόνιτσας, της γραφικής κωμόπολης που είναι κτισμένη αμφιθεατρικά στην πλαγιά του όρους Τραπεζίτσα. Η κωμόπολη βρίσκεται πολύ κοντά στα διάσημα Ζαγοροχώρια και είναι πολύ γνωστή για τους εξαιρετικούς πετράδες της, που στο παρελθόν περιδιάβαιναν την Ελλάδα και τα Βαλκάνια και στους οποίους οφείλουμε αρκετά από τα πανέμορφα τοξωτά γεφύρια που κοσμούν τα ποτάμια της Ηπείρου. Βρίσκεται επίσης πολύ κοντά στη Χαράδρα του Βίκου, το μεγαλοπρεπές βραχώδες στόμιο της οποίας μπορείτε να δείτε σε μερικά σημεία του βίντεο. Για να φτάσετε στην Κόνιτσα, μπορείτε να ακολουθήσετε την εθνική οδό Ιωαννίνων - Κοζάνης (   • Greece: Ioannina - Konitsa: Sullen Su...  ) και αν σας αρέσει η περιπέτεια, μπορείτε να συνεχίσετε στον ίδιο δρόμο (   • Greece: Konitsa - Eptachori: Wanderin...  ) για να φτάσετε στα Μαστοροχώρια και στο Επταχώρι και από εκεί είτε να στρίψετε προς Νεστόριο και Καστοριά (   • Greece: Eptachori - Kastoria: Τhe Mou...  ), είτε να συνεχίσετε προς Κοζάνη.
