The Dark Side of Belarus

Описание к видео The Dark Side of Belarus

Located in eastern Europe, Belarus is a country that was formerly a part of the Soviet Union until it became independent in 1991. It’s a landlocked country bordered by Lithuania, Latvia, Russia, Ukraine, and Poland. It’s a country that has retained the USSR’s character so much that its secret service is still called the KGB. It’s also closely aligned with Russia in terms of economy, as Russia is its major trading partner. But recently, it has had a growing trade with European Union countries, leading to an increase in their GDP.
