Realtime Car Destruction Madness!

A demonstration of my Realtime car destruction simulation technique for VFX in Blender.

For making this possible I use RBC addon to drive and control the car. On top of that I add my whole very own realtime destruction technique succesfully experimentd in 2023.

FAQ: DO YOU NEED A POWERFUL PC TO MAKE THIS? = NO.

This technique can be used even if you have a weak pc. Of course for weak computers you must lower the vertices count in your car, and optimize blender viewport accordingly, but is all explained in the course.

But at least to avoid blender crashes I would recommend at least having these specs:
CPU: at least 4 cores
GPU: at lest 4 GB gpu
RAM: 24 GB

But what really makes the difference is how many vertices has your car!
The realtime response can be achieved mainly in 2 ways:

1) lowering the car's vertices count (you cannot play in realtime with 500.000 vertices!)

2) optimizing Blender (solid view, close all extra viewports, turn off cavity / shadows, turning off the environment visibility, etc... ).

All the ways to get the highest framerate per second are explained in the course.

The user can play with the destroyable car in realtime using the keyboard like a game. Once is happy, bake the physics, and then rendering.

The rendering is not realtime of course ( sounds obvious, but I thought I would write it, since a few people has asked also that lol ).

However, I made the entire course and related demonstations with a 4 cores CPU (simulations run on CPU).

Last but not least: this is not for gta6, beamng, or forzahorizon. The goal of this project is for making VFX in movies, not for gaming :)
