Описание к видео Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)

Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio-Pancreatography, or ERCP, is a combined endoscopical and radiological procedure to study the bile duct and the pancreatic duct. ERCP is performed using a special side-viewing endoscope which allows a detailed examination of the common channel of the bile duct and pancreatic duct, otherwise known as the ampulla. This procedure is frequently employed to investigate any narrowing of the ducts and to treat stone diseases.
