Range Rover P38 # 008 - Front Speakers - Central Locking - Subwoofer (and Dash Cam)

Finally installing the new front door speakers. They're 3-way Renegade RX62's. Curious how they sound. So we'll delete the door amplifiers after removing the front door panels. Also we'll have to re-wire a bit inside the doors as my new Kenwood KMM-BT502DAB head unit has a built-in amplifier.

We'll look at my 3rd party remote controlled central locking as well as replace my subwoofer with new speaker elements (Signat SM-1651). At the same time you'll get a glimpse of my self-made Dash Cam system with tracking and WiFi sharing.

In the front doors:
Yellow = positive (+). Yellow / Black = negative (-) from head unit.
Black / White = positive (+). Black / White = negative (-) mid range / tweeter.
Black / Green = positive (+). Green / Black = negative (-) woofer.

In the rear doors :
Green = positive (+). Green / Black = negative (-) from head unit.
Black / White = positive (+). Black / White = negative (-) mid range.
Red / Green = positive (+). Green / Red = negative (-) woofer.

Woofer is standard 6.5" unit. Depth is 72 mm (2.83")
Mid range is 57 mm unit (2 1/4"). Max width behind grille = 68 mm (2 3/4").
Max grille opening 82 mm (3,22")
Between mounting holes 101 mm (3.97 "). Frame is 88 mm "square" (3,46")
Depth is 38 mm (1.5").
Tweeters are 25 mm units (1") with 36mm (1.4") mounting holes.

Subwoofers are standard 6.5" units. Ported box.
Speakers are more upgraded 6.5" than the door speakers.

Head unit speaker connector:
Front Left : Yellow (+), Yellow / Black (-)
Front Right : Red (+), Red / Black (-)
Rear Left : Green (+), Green / Black (-)
Rear Right: Blue (+), Blue / Black (-)

The power and speaker connectors for the head unit are standard ISO-plugs. Standard wiring.
