IGNITE 1.0 portfolio company, Omia an input supplier and offtaker operating in West Nile is working with WFP-supported refugee and host community smallholders with an integrated intervention aiming at maximising smallholder farmers productivity and income generation.
This includes quality inputs and productive assets such as solar-water pumps. Through this collaborative joint effort, the aim is to unlock the potential of these farmers by providing them with accessible and affordable options to increase their productivity to empower farmers and catalyse agricultural growth offering farmers with access to quality, climate-smart agricultural inputs, extension support services and linkages to profitable and reliable output markets.
