Drew and Mike in the Morning was a popular drive-time radio show broadcast on 101 WRIF in Detroit Michigan from 1991 to 2013, starring Drew Lane, the late Mike Clark and Trudi Daniels. When I first heard their show in the late '90s, I thought it was the best radio show ever. So I started recording the show from time to time and eventually amassed about 30 cassette tapes' worth of memories. Sadly, some of them were lost forever, but many more of them I converted to MP3 files in the early 2000s. It's high time I shared these tapes on my channel, for all to enjoy.

BTW, you might notice that some tapes in this series don’t have the best audio quality. You may hear some artifacting like hissing, background noise, volume drops, a little speeding up of the tape, bits cut short or broken in the middle (because the tape stopped and I had to quickly switch sides and hit “record” again). The recorders that I used were not always great, radio reception wasn’t always great, I’m not the best recorder, and unfortunately I don’t have access to remastering equipment which I could use to fix some of these problems. I hope, however, that any variance in audio quality will not take away from your pleasure in listening to these snippets of this classic morning show. Please enjoy, because you’re not going to hear the likes of Drew and Mike in the Morning ever again.

One more note: Drew and Mike in the Morning featured raunchy humor and was not politically correct or "woke." If that offends you, it's your problem, not mine.
