There are several reasons where I saw it better to re-make my size comparison

Firstly, the bird designs were not the best quality and they felt very rushed. I spent well over 50 hours hand-illustrating every bird you see in this video to an acceptable standard. I also made them have the same relative standing position, which though it may look “monotonous”, is altogether better than having each bird in a different position of flight, as it helps illustrate the size of each bird relative to each species as well as to the human and hand figures added to scale. The old video felt rushed and inaccurate, and I wanted a better showpiece for this channel no matter the effort

Additionally, there are several size inaccuracies especially with the later birds in the video, as well as me “reskinning” other related species caused major anatomical errors. Hence, I have re-made the video altogether

Do realise that these sizes are mostly average, so it is extremely likely that species may be recorded at larger lengths and masses. Due to the very large amount (200+ species) of birds in this video, you will realise several iconic species missing. Making the entire video was incredibly exhausting and I hope you understand why I would not feel like spending 15-70 minutes illustrating a bird in some circumstances. Thank you
