This video shows you how to install a new torque strut engine mount on your 2001-2007 Volvo V70. The torque strut engine mount braces the engine against twisting, shaking, and vibrating when under load, and when load changes suddenly. The rubber bushings on the torque strut mount will wear down over time, and need to be replaced, even if the strut itself is in good condition. You'll know it's time to replace the torque strut engine mount when you feel vibration or shaking, especially when accelerating.

This repair was done on a 2001 Volvo V70 X/C 2.4L Wagon 4-Door AWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:

Tools you will need:
• 14mm Socket
• 18mm Socket
• Air Compressor
• Torque Angle Gauge
• 1/2 Inch Impact Gun
• Ratchet
