While Nainital is a major tourist destination, Pangot is a hidden gem just 15 kms away from Nainital. and another gem in Pangot is the Jungle Lore Birding Lodge. The beauty of this lodge is mesmerising. From warm hospitality to food to stay to birding, it's an unforgettable experience. A highly recommended lodge for photography lovers. Best time to visit is from October to June. Since they have only 4 cottages, advanced booking is highly recommended. Do carry battery back-ups, portable chargers, torch as there are frequent power cuts, especially during rainy season.
