Puff the Magic Dragon in the Land of the Living Lies tells the story of Sandy, a confused little girl who uses her fanciful imagination to escape from the problems of her troubled home until she can no longer tell the difference between fact and fantasy. To teach Sandy the difference between harmless fantasy and damaging lies, Puff the Magic Dragon takes her on a fantastic journey to "The Land of the Living Lies," where she meets such famous liars as The Boy Who Cried Wolf, Baron Munchausen, and Pinocchio.

First aired November 17, 1979 on CBS, and produced by Fred Wolf Films, this is a sequel to the 1978 TV special Puff the Magic Dragon, with Burgess Meredith returning as the voice of the title character. It was also shown in Trinidad and Tobago during the 1990s.
