Front Strut Replacement & Lift Kit - FJ Cruiser Part 1 of 2

This video will show you step-by-step on how to replaced the front struts for a Toyota FJ Cruiser with new struts and 3 inch spacers to raise the vehicle's ground clearance. Part 1 covers the front end work ... Part 2 covers the rear end 2" extended length shock absorber and spring installation.

The FJ Cruiser lift kit was provided by the customer and contained a pair of front end suspension risers, and a pair of new extended length rear shock absorbers and springs. Since the Cruiser had over 100K miles, I recommended the replacement of the front struts with new ones. The customer agreed and purchased new complete struts on-line.

After the suspension service, the Cruiser ride was very smooth and supple with no squeaks and rattles. Highly recommend that the car's suspension camber is adjusted by an automotive shop with an alignment machine.
