Watch as the United States Air Force's newest airlifter performs at Airshow London 2020, Sept 11-13, in London, Ontario, Canada. The impressive high and low speed handling and manoeuvring demonstarted by the Globemaster lll, coupled with it's incredible short take off and landing abilities, make this display a show stopper at any airshow. This footage begins with an overhead break and landing during the early portion of the Saturday (Sept12) airshow, as all United States Armed Forces aircraft participating in the show were not permitted to base out of London due to COVID 19 restrictions in Canada, so the C-17 stayed and launched out of Selfridge ANGB, Michigan, 70 miles to the west. each show day. The first take off shown is the start of its full, tactical display, and ends with a short field approach and landing. Concluding this presentation is a final departure after the overall airshow had ended, taking equipment and narrators from all U.S display teams back to Selfridge for the night.
