The Otago Volts have bounced back in the Ford Trophy competition, beating the Auckland Aces this past Tuesday.

In a shared bowling effort, four of the Volts' bowling attack managed to pick up 2+ wickets, restricting the Aces to just 225 from 48.3 overs. In reply, the opening pair of Nick Kelly (61) and Mitch Renwick (40) combined for a 97-run opening stand before Renwick was dismissed.

Neil Broom (68*) and Anaru Kitchen (32) picked up where their teammates left off, as the Volts got home with 6 wickets to spare.
