This portable LED moon is mind-glowing!!

This exciting product comes to us from a company called Mind-glowing…and they deliver on that namesake. This is a 5.9” diameter, wireless, touch/IR remote controlled LED 3D printed moon lamp. The surface is highly textured however there is no banding or visible evidence that this was 3d printed.
The box contains the moon itself with its own integrated battery (or can be powered by a 5 volt USB outlet), and instruction manual, IR remote control, an easy-to-assemble artistic wood base, and a charging cable. In regards to the charging cable, it has a barrel plug connector on the end. I would have liked to have seen a micro USB port instead. If you lose the charging cable for this lamp, you may be hard pressed to find a replacement that works. So…don’t lose it!

Unlike other similar products that just have various shades of white, this awesome 3D printed Moon Lamp lights up in 16 dimmable RGB COLORS (including lunar white and warm white) and is tap and remote operated.

The craters and surface features are amazingly lifelike. They cleverly made thicker areas on the model so that they block out more of the internal light. The thinner areas act more as the mountain ridges on the moon. Basically they printed an inverted surface. The thicker areas don’t transmit as much light and therefore are darker like the real craters on the moon and the thinner areas transmit more light thereby making them look like less disturbed areas of the moon, the white that we see on the real moon. This level of detail is remarkable. It makes for a great teaching tool and not just a nightlight.
