✏️ Phitcha and her friends share shrimp noodles dropped off to school from her family’s Thai restaurant in Akaroa, where she also works at the weekend. Between video calls back home to Thailand and juggling the never-ending tourists that come into town, Phitcha reflects on her relationship with her father.

🎞 Takeout Kids is an observational documentary series from director Julie Zhu, following the everyday lives of five young people in Aotearoa growing up in their parents’ shops.
