Social Repercussions of Being Heavily Modified

I think this is a really important conversation to have and to keep having. It's better now then it was in the past to be more visibly modified, but it still comes with a great deal of discrimination and struggle. Those planning on a career or lifestyle like this should be aware and prepared for what exactly that means.

I considered touching on colonization, western religion, purity culture, homophobia, queer culture, and the erasure of indigenous practices in this video because that's really where we can trace the discrimination of body modification back to but that felt like something worth it's own video. I also just wanted to be a bit more personal and vulnerable in this one. Would y'all want to see a deeper historical look at the context of discrimination of body modification? Let me know.
