!!! - find the pattern for the cat ears (🐱), bear ears (🐻), and lock (🌹) as a pinned comment in the comment section below!

🥀materials:
- Yarn (i used 5 ply/sport)
- 3.5 mm hook
A toploader (i'm just using the general normal sized toploader)
- Yarn needle (for sewing)

🌺abbreviations:
- Starting bc = a starting bobble stitch (this is a stitch I kinda invented for the project). To do this, single crochet in the first stitch, yarn over, insert hook through the same stitch with the single crochet, pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops. Do the same pulling up a loop, inserting in the same loop, yarning over and pulling through 2 loops 3 more times. You should have 5 loops on your hook. After that, yarn over again and pull through the 5 loops. (To make the bc pop out, you have to do a sc in the next stitch so follow the rest of the pattern. Written pattern down below!)
- bc = bobble stitch. This is just a normal bobble stitch (here's a link to a bc tutorial!:    • CROCHET: Bobble stitch tutorial | Bel...  )
- sc = single crochet
- inc = increase

written pattern!:

🌷notes:
- when it says turn, just turn without chaining so the ends are more aligned:)
- try to make your tension not so tight
- while making the pattern, have your toploader with you so you can measure every time you make a new row so you can make adjustments to the pattern if you need to:)

*sewing notes for the main pc cover:
use a whip stitch
make sure that the sides with the bobbles popping out is facing out

💐if you're using different yarn weights or if it doesn’t fit, I hope this helps to make your own pc cover! (you could try to make the back panel first, so that you can see if it fits!):
For the starting chain: odd number of stitches + 1 chain (for turning). The odd number of stitches should be the length or 1 stitch longer than the width of the toploader. Then add another chain for turning.
- Follow the written pattern but add more/less bobble stitches and single crochets based on how many you chained! Always start the row with a starting bobble stitch and always end the row with 2 single crochets.
- For the vertical sides of the front pattern, you can experiment how many bobble stitches you add! If you wanna make a smaller inner frame, add more bcs. If you want to, you can remove the last sc (so you can do "starting bc, sc" (2)) to make the frame a little bit wider:)
- If you followed my pattern but your back panel and completed front frame is just a little bit smaller, I advise you to do single crochets around the entire outer perimeter of the frame and back panel to increase the size a bit. On the corners to make a sharp edge, chain 2 and continue to sc on the rest of the sides. This is the only tutorial i could find that kinda relates to the concept that we have todo to increase the size a bit, so you can use this!:    • Single Crochet Border on a Granny Squ...   (tutorial not mine, credits to the owner!)
