Here you can see the direct comparison with the Grundig C4000 Radio recorder (1971-74) vs. Grundig Concert-Boy Recoder C340 (1969-70). The Grundig Concert-Boy Recoder C340 was the predecessor of the Grundig C4000 and has many similarities. The external dimensions are completely identical. The biggest differences are in the short wave range: Here the Concert-Boy Recoder C340 has only the 49m and 41m band, i.e. a range of 5.9 - 7.4 MHz. But the range is quite spread out. The C4000, on the other hand, can cover a much wider range: 19m, 25m, 31m, 41m and 49m (5.9 - 16 MHz). A further, striking external difference are the "plastic markers" on the scale with which you can "mark" radio stations.
