At the 80th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 2025), Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, condemned the unprecedented humanitarian crisis in Gaza, accusing the occupation authorities of committing “brutal and unchecked practices” that strip Palestinians of their historical and legal rights.

He criticized the international community’s failure to stop Israel’s aggression, warning that continued violations will undermine regional and global stability. Prince Faisal stressed that military escalation will not bring peace and reiterated Saudi Arabia’s call for a two-State solution as the only path to a just and lasting resolution.

He urged all nations to recognize the State of Palestine and denounced Israeli attacks across the region, including against Qatar.

Beyond Palestine, the Minister highlighted Saudi Arabia’s support for a Sudanese ceasefire, a Libyan-led solution, and a peaceful settlement to the Ukraine conflict — reinforcing Riyadh’s role as a key advocate of diplomacy and multilateral stability.
