For most of the Dark Aeons I was using the Zanmato strategy without any sphere level grinding or gil grinding. Needless to say, I was able to do most of them using that strategy but in the end I found myself in a sticky situation where I had to boost some characters attributes just so I wouldn't get one shotted and toggle the Max Gil Parameter. I didn't want to do it and believe me, I tried a lot of times just to end with failed attempts. My most success was getting 4 Zanmatos in a row during the Dark Yojimbo encounters. But always would come up short in the end. So, kudos to whoever can pull off 5 Zanmatos in a row.
