Eric is working to achieve a calmer behavior and mindset in Coby (Australian Shepherd) who just arrived a couple hours prior to this video.
Although there will be a time when it is necessary to correct these behaviors, in the beginning we like to keep things as low stress as possible and in many cases we can successfully modify the unwanted behaviors while using many less corrections when we focus on the dogs mindset and emotional experience rather than only focusing on a particular behavior, which is only a symptom.
This goes for aggressive, reactive, anxious or simply over stimulated dogs.
