Welcome to the course! My name is Daniel Harker, Founder and Principle Trainer for E-Learn IT. I've been working with vSphere since 2007, right back to v2, before the inception of the vSphere moniker. I've worked my way through the VMware Certification path and I am proud to call myself a VMware Certified Implementation Expert (VCIX).

Throughout this course, you'll see how to build a basic 2-node vSphere cluster, and then layer-on the additional features that make Virtualisation one of the most important weapons in a modern Data Centre's arsenal.

Thanks for watching, and I hope you find the course informative. This course has been written so that you can complete it by just watching the videos, and you don't need a lab environment. But, if you do have access to suitable hardware, it is well worth building your own lab and getting some hands on experience with vSphere. In the bonus article at the end of the course, I give some advice on how to set up a lab, including some cloud services that may help in gaining access to adequate CPU and RAM.
