Cetim’s new electrodynamic vibrator entered service in early September, and the least we can say is that it is an XXL model !
As a matter of fact, it can withstand weights of 5 metric tonnes (in its extended version with two horizontal tables and one guided vertical table) and accommodate workpieces of 4 x 2.5 m in size! Moreover, this item of equipment also features improved acceleration, force, speed and displacement capabilities.
This new large-sized item of equipment at Cetim will allow shock and endurance testing to be performed for the aviation, railway, defence, energy or Oil & Gas sectors and, of course, for the automobile and space industries.
