I've been a fan of these types of videos for a while now, and I wanted to see what it would be like to actually record and produce a post-commentary nuzlocke video. Emergent storytelling is cool, and I think Nuzlockes provide a great foundation for some neat stories to emerge.

I didn't succeed in everyway that I wanted to in regards to making this video, and think there are some areas that could be improved, but this was a creative endeavor more than anything, and I learned a lot too. If I ever upload again, whether that be gaming, power scaling, or something else, I think that process and outcome will be even better than what I have here.

Ruleset:
1. A Pokemon faints, it dies
2. Can only catch the first viable Pokemon I find on each route
3. No items are allowed to be used in battle.
4. No leveling past the next gym leader's ace
5. Game must be played in set mode.
6. Only Pokemon that evolve by friendship evolution can be used. Any Pokemon that exists further in the evolution line that does not evolve by friendship cannot be used.
7. If I have a female Pikachu, I can breed a Pichu with Volt Tackle and replace the original Pikachu (see, it's in the rules so it would have been ok)
8. Species Clause is in effect.
